Young or old, from any background, race or ethnicity, protecting their rights, their property and their lives has remained Steve's highest priority. In 2008, Steve co-authored the Victims Bill of Rights, known as Marsy's Law. This act amended California's Constitution and became the most powerful guarantee of rights for victims anywhere in the United States. Steve's experience, leadership and dedication to the people of Los Angeles County make him the right choice to elect as our District Attorney in 2012.

As our next District Attorney, Steve will work tirelessly with prosecutors, investigators and support staff to build a unified coalition in service of the people of Los Angeles. His dynamic leadership will inspire public confidence and restore our belief in the integrity and character of the Office of the District Attorney.
